The first step is to check our Online Availability Chart. If the facility is available for hire then please complete the Booking Form. The Booking Form opens as a Microsoft Word document. Please complete it, save it to your PC and email it to the Booking Clerk (see email address above). If you telephone, please leave your contact details on the answering system in order that the booking clerk can return your call as soon as possible.

The Selling of Alcohol will require a Liquor License

In line with the Alcohol Licensing Act 2003, Herstmonceux Village hall has become a Licensed Premise. Users must obtain permission to sell or consume alcohol on the premises from the Hall Committee when hiring the hall.

We will forward a copy of the application form if needed, which you will need to be submitted personally by you to The Hall Committee.

Alcohol on the premises, but not being sold, will not require a Liquor License

We will need to know and must still be approved by the Village Hall Committee.

NOTE: Any member of the Village Hall Committee, and/or the Police reserve the right to enter the Hall at any time during the event to ensure due compliance with the Licensing Act 2003 and to immediately terminate any event or exclude any person from the Hall if in their absolute discretion they believe or have reason to believe that any breach of the Licensing Act 2003 has or is about to occur.
